My Alaskan Adventure.

Hello all!

I haven't written in a month, that's very bad... So this is my last full week here in Alaska. I have so many things i could write about, but some experiences aren't easily written. I've experienced many new things on this journey, and seen things i only thought i would see in a book. It took me forever to see a moose, but then when i did, i saw like eight of them! I've seen some other amazing wildelife since i've been here, like sea otters, doll sheep, harbor seals, etc.

My aunt and uncle live in this town called Wasilla, or as some people call it 'Palin-ville'. But she's no longer governor. They don't have any children, so they have this cat. His name's Fred, and he weighs 17 pounds! He's extrememly spoiled, and gets whatever he wants. I've even had to get up off the couch before all because he wanted to sit where i was, and he wouldn't go away til i got up. But ohhhh well.

The mountains here amaze me, and i still can't seem to keep my mouth from hanging open when we're driving down the road, even though i've been here for a month now. I've also been able to see some glaciers! It was cold, but i really liked it.

We traveled up to Fairbanks a couple days ago, and stayed with a man named Bart. He was pretty cool. But it was rather smokey up in that area, because there are over 300 forrest fires going on.

I'll try to write more from now on.
Adios amigos!

I Am Officially A Blogger.

Howdy y'all.

I just got home a couple days ago from a week long trip to lovely New York. I traveled along the bumpy back roads to upstate, about seven or so hours from little Newport. There was fishing, kayaking, and long walks in the woods; what fun. On Thursday I made a new record of catching TWENTY-SIX fish, within a six hour time period. So after the long, and not-so-eventful week was over, I was extremely happy to arrive at home. The best part was getting to sleep in my own bed again; the one in New York was only minimally better than sleeping on a rock. I have a big trip coming up next Tuesday, so I'll be writing about that a lot too in the near future.
